During the podcast on PHNX Sports, former NBA player Eddie Johnson recounted an unforgettable encounter he had with the six-time champion. Johnson shared the details of a day leading up to an exhibition game, where he found himself stuck in a room with Jordan for hours on end. However, despite being tired and sore from a previous game, Johnson, along with Tom Chambers, couldn’t escape Jordan’s competitive grip.

The 6’6” small forward Johnson explained, “Jordan stands up in the room and he says you tell that boy Dan Marley I got some for him tonight.

In the locker room, Jordan suddenly declared that he would give Dan Marley, a staggering 40 points in the exhibition game that night. Bold claims from MJ but that wasn’t where it ended. Jordan wanted to make the stakes spicier.

The 64-year-old continued, “he looked at Tom and I, and he said I’m gonna give your boy 40. We like who Dan? Yeah! Okay whatever bet a hundred bet two hundred. I took the bet Tom took the bet.
