The Los Angeles Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal has always been open about his life and previous relationships. The Big Man lately got candid about his past and the time ahead of him while promoting his new music.

Shaq has been focusing on his career as a DJ for the better part of his life since his retirement from the league. To promote his new album, GORILLA WARFARE, he lately appeared on a podcast hosted by Bobbi Althoff. Althoff quickly rose to stardom with her sudden podcast out of nowhere with major A-list celebrities. She has interviewed Drake, Lil Yachty, Tyga, Mark Cuban, and now Shaq.

Shaquille O’Neal shares his plans for the future

Bobbi asked Shaq if he always wears his sunglasses, to which the Diesel said, “Yes.” She continued by asking if he wore them even while taking a shower. To this, he replied that he does and then said that he “doesn’t really shower“. Bobbi was shocked by this answer and exclaimed, “Ever?” And Shaq answered, “Yes”. This made Bobbi say that she could tell and that it was smelling in the room. Shaq said, “I smell like roses, right?”

Then he made the revelation that he likes wearing old ladies perfumes. Bobbi then asked if Shaq took it from an old lady or not. To this, he replied, “My robbery days are over… I got it from a store,” he said, wondering if she meant he stole it from someone.

Then came the most hilarious part of the interview, where she clarified her question. Bobbi asked if Shaq met up with an old lady to get it, to which he said, “The diesel doesn’t do old ladies yet”. It’s been 12 years since Shaq legally separated from his ex-wife, Shaunie Henderson.

He then talked about moving to an old people’s house with his friends when he turned 69.

Shaq got caught stealing when he was younger

Shaq is worth 400 million dollars. He is a widely recognized celebrity. But even Shaq has secrets from his younger days. From bullying kids to getting arrested by the police and spending a day in jail for smashing up a car, Shaq’s life is not fully known to the public.

He revealed in an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! about the time he worked in a restaurant. Kimmel asked the Los Angeles Lakers legend if he had ever done it. To that, Shaq said he worked at a McDonald’s when he was younger. He then said that he left the job one day.

Shaq then said he respects the people who have real jobs because it’s extremely hard to do them. He then explained that the reason he quit was because he was caught stealing the fries while working.
