Dwyane Wade put together a massive bash like only he knows how. The 3x NBA champion has been a part of the Cannabis brand Jeeter since he became a board member in 2021. Since then, Wade has helped the brand take longer strides and achieve some smashing success. As Wade and his Jeeter family celebrated their annual High Dining event once again, the 42-year-old announced the brand’s latest partnership with the Last Prisoner Project.

The event was held on April 20. Taking to his Instagram handle, the MVP of the party, Wade shared numerous snaps of him enjoying the night with his business partners and friends. The Instagram carousel post was captioned, Still on cloud nine from the second annual @Jeeter “High Dining” event 😮‍💨☁️”

Furthermore, he also spoke about the $26,000 donation made by the company and wrote, “We partnered with @lastprisonerproject, an organization that works tirelessly to redress the harms of cannabis criminalization and donated a total of $26,000. Partying with a purpose will never go out of style. Cant wait to see how we’ll outdo ourselves next year.”

The Last Prisoner Project was founded by the trio of Steve DeAngelo, Dean Raise, and Andrew DeAngelo in 2019. While the Instagram page of the brand commented on the post expressing gratitude, Wade’s wife Gabrielle Union also dropped a heart emoji in the comments section. Starting last year, Wade followed the tradition this year too by organizing the High Dining in honor of 420, the cannabis symbolic date. His wife and numerous other celebrities joined him for the party.

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union were “High AF” on a star-studded night

The event saw numerous A-list celebrities join the fun festivities and the 3-course meal. Nazanin Mandi, Jozzy, Armani White, Freddie Prinze Jr., Zachary Levi, Jay Ellis, Jeff Ross, Seth Green, Karrueche Tran and many more were in attendance.

During the party, Wade also shared a snap of him dancing alongside Union on his Instagram Stories and wrote, “High AF.” The Bring It On actress also took the stage to witness some magic with Kevin Li. Another highlight of the event was the stunning performance by Grammy-nominated singer Skip Marley. He performed ‘Jamming’ and ‘One Love’ for the star-studded crowd. All in all, it was a spectacular night.

Wade has known the founders of Jeeter, Lukasz Tracz and Sebastian Solano since 2019. Later, they translated their friendship into business. Ahead of Wade’s Hall of Fame induction, the brand also introduced a new lineup, ‘Hall of Flames’ to pay homage to the Miami Heat legend. Just recently, he was seen enjoying dinner with the Jeeter founders. Apart from Dwyane Wade, other NBA greats such as Allen Iverson and Carmelo Anthony are also involved in the cannabis industry. Looks like a booming industry for these retired basketball icons.
