It was a proud moment for every Marquette University alum including the former Miami Heat player. As the team was about to make history with its performance, the Hall of Famer was also present to show his support. The game was held in the Stan Sheriff Center in Hawaii.

Showcasing his jealousy, Wade said, ?I am a little jealous we never got to come to Hawaii, it’s a lot of things you can be jealous of.”

Following that, he mentioned the role he and his teammates have played for the team and how it might have impacted them. He explained, ?But I’m glad that you know we were able to do what we did to be able to set the stage for moments that have to come after through us and so that’s why we can celebrate it together.??

He also praised the players and the coach’s efforts, in addition to the team’s historical win against Kansas.
