He also mentioned that it’s the subtle changes and the addition of a player?s own unique style that makes them an icon. Well, that can be considered true as even if Nowitzki is not the first player who pulled this move, he is certainly the best of them all.?

In an old Twitter video, the former Mavericks star revealed how he came to use the fadeaway shot that went on to become one of the best signature moves in the league?s history. Expressing his awe over the fans? love and excitement, he said, ?So I was always comfortable shooting off one leg, and so I kinda just made it up on the fly. Honestly, I shot it once and it felt good. And it didn?t a lot of energy, then I shot it a little more and more as part of my repertoire.?
