During the Heat’s incredible playoff run, this legend played his final season. The man who has won been on every title-winning Miami team was looking to add ring number 4. Instead, he set a different record. Udonis Haslem is the oldest player to ever participate in an NBA Finals game, breaking the record set by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Barely a few months removed from this feat, Haslem has already teased the next chapter of his career.

It’s safe to say UD does not have a very funny side like the above ‘Inside the NBA’ duo. However, his knowledge of the game is nothing less when compared with them. And this is exactly what Haslem believes to be his strength.

In an interview, the 43-year-old shared, “It’s something I have the personality for, I have the knowledge to do… So I figured I would get my feet wet and learn the ropes and get into it.”

Along with this came a subtle flex from the Heat legend on the several offers he received. Let’s take a look at it.

Udonis revealed CBS and TNT have invited him to start his career as a host.

He has an advantage in both scenarios as he will get to work with familiar faces. Haslem revealed he has a great relationship with former NBA coach Avery Johnson from CBS and former teammate Steven Smith from TNT.

UD is confident he has a great shot at this new chapter. Anyhow, he has to choose the right option.
Moreover, he made it clear he would not share any locker room details as he doesn’t like sharing about personal relationships. What are your thoughts on this? Share your take in the comments below.
