After Satisfying Father Shaquille O’Neal’s 9-Year-Old Promise to Dana White, Millionaire Myles O’Neal Seen With UFC Owner’s Close Friend

Four-time NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal and UFC president Dana White met each other through legendary fighter Victor Belfort. From that encounter onward, the Laker’s legend has been frequenting UFC happenings. After nine years, O’Neal recently showed that he was steadfast all along in his promise to long-time friend Dana White. Joining him in his passion is his son Myles O’Neal.

For the power-packed UFC 290, the Big Man performed at the huge after-party night at the Encore Beach Club. On his IG post, he announced that he will be joined by his son Myles. The event has seen the likes of the Chainsmokers, Dillon Francis, and featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski.

The NBA legend has seen a meteoric rise in his DJ career lately. His repertoire in music is vast and extremely eclectic. As announced on his IG post, he was joined by his 26-year-old fashion on the star-studded night in Las Vegas. The father-son duo had the listeners pulling in like magnets to their music.

Myles’s first debut in the UFC realm and his interaction with the fighters looked intriguing and fun. On his IG post, he is seen having a playful stare-down with iconic MMA artist Israel Adesanya.

He was also seen socializing with some of the celebrated fighters and with close friends of UFC president Dana White.

O’Neal’s love for UFC and his friendship with Dana White

The two sports luminaries’ friendship dates back to the time when the Big Aristotle himself came across UFC for the first time. The sport was introduced to him through Brazilian MMA fighter, Victor Belfort. Since then, the Los Angeles Lakers icon has been friends with White and continued to follow the sport. He was so obsessed with UFC that back in 2011, just days before his retirement from the NBA, he called White to convey his desire to be involved with the organization.

The big man was also a part of the first season of the Ultimate Fighter which left White highly impressed with his dedication. His passion even got him inside the octagon once against Forrest Griffin and Claudinha Gadelha while his close friend was refereeing both fights.

The basketball legend has also been instrumental in the UFC’s promotions. He even offered up his Orlando estate for a UFC press conference once. Mentioning his desire to help his friend he said, “Listen, anything Dana White needs, he gets from me.”

Even after so many years, people witness their strong bond as the NBA icon himself took the DJ deck – along with his son – for the after-party, as promised to White nine years ago.
