A win following an embarrassing defeat

Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls were unfortunate. They went up against the team of Larry Bird and Kevin McHale in back-to-back years in the playoffs. But Jordan’s reaction after one such defeat was priceless.

In a resurfaced video on Twitter, Michael Jordan is seen smiling and having fun with his teammates. In the video, Michael Jordan can be heard saying, “This is fun! .. We just lost to the Boston Celtics, but I’m winning!“. This was following his loss against the Celtics for the second straight year in the playoffs. The team was playing cards in the video while putting up the money.

This was Jordan’s second and third seasons in the league. He faced the Celtics in the first round both times. The Celtics swept the Bulls both times. Michael Jordan dominated in both series by putting up inhuman numbers by himself. He averaged 43.7 PPG and 35.7 PPG, respectively, in both years.

Following the defeat, Jordan went off the court to win and make some money. Michael Jordan’s love for gambling was always known. He himself has shared various instances where he likes the thrill he gets from gambling.

Michael Jordan once bet his team that the suitcase that came out of the conveyor first would be his. This was after the team got off in Portland. Some of the players put money out. But it didn’t end well for them, as Jordan’s suitcase came out first on the conveyor.

But what people didn’t know was that Jordan had already paid off the guy working behind the conveyor to put his bag in front. His teammates didn’t know this. He didn’t need the money, as he was a millionaire. But he never missed the opportunity to get a quick score against anyone.
