The Miami Heat legend was at his usual best setting fire to the red carpet with his costume accompanied by his wife Gabrielle Union. Over the years, Wade has become a fashion icon flashing his incredible and different fashion sense. He once again displayed it during the HoF enshrinement as well. Amidst the preparation, the three-time NBA champion talked about his relationship with a major fashion brand.

Dwyane Wade recently shared a video clip on his YouTube channel which captured his preparation for the Hall of Fame event. The clip started with the quote, “I never fall down. I always fight,” by Gianni Versace. Wade spoke highly about his stylist Jason Bolden who is a popular celebrity stylist. Bolden stated that he normally does not steam suits, but he was doing it for the big day.

Wade then talked about forming and building relationships with the right brands. He noted that after establishing the relationship it is about Jason doing his part with groundwork behind the scenes and then it’s him showing up.

Talking about the preparation for the HoF, he said, “Coming here this week, we wanted to tell a story. We wanted to tell a story about a brand that we both associated with, that we’re fond of, that we’ve been watching our lives, and that’s the Versace story.”

Wade then opened up about representing the brand. He added, “But we also want to represent the brand the way that we want to see the brand continue to move and evolve towards. And that’s the renaissance man. That’s the modern man.”

The Hall of Famer also said that because of their relationship with Versace, they were able to wear custom Versace throughout the week. He beamed with joy as he said this and could not believe it himself as well.

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union turned heads once again during the 2023 Hall of Fame event. While the NBA legend was in a bright red suit, the actress wowed everyone with a plunging black dress with peep-toe heels and a glimmering silver choker necklace. The couple were joined by their children as well. Afterward, an emotional Wade delivered a moving acceptance speech.
