Magic Johnson full of praise for the 23-year-old sprinter
Yesterday, Sha’Carri Richardson was given the last baton for Team USA to win the women’s 4×100 relay. She didn’t disappoint, as she outpaced Jamaica’s Shericka Jackson, the women’s 200-meter champion, to take home the gold. Richardson has been completely dominant in this championship.

This was a major accomplishment for Sha’Carri Richardson following a disappointing few years. She qualified for the 2020 Olympics after competing in the United States Olympic trials, but she was banned later on for testing positive for cannabis. However, she wasn’t the only one receiving praise from the NBA icon.

The biggest attraction in USA track and field
Magic Johnson sent out a separate tweet to acknowledge the greatness of Noah Lyles, who was the main draw at the World Athletics Championship.
It was a good year for the phenom on the field. Noah Lyles took home three gold medals at the event. He came first in the men’s 100m, 200m, and also in the men’s 4X100 relay. He is definitely a star in the making and will be a household name in the USA track and field for a long time.
