Dwyane Wade gets Meta-fied

Meta released a star-studded feature across its platforms to give fans a one-of-a-kind experience. Users can interact with the new AI assistant like they’re conversing with a person. And this assistant happens to look like Dwyane Wade.

The Flash is one of many celebrities to launch his own AI chatbot under Meta. Through a partnership with Bing, you can access information with prompts to a D-Wade AI likeness. This is Meta’s way of making people feel like they’re interacting with familiar people.

Along with Wade, Chris Paul has taken the AI plunge too. CP3 joins the likes of Snoop Dogg, Tom Brady, Naomi Osaka, Kendall Jenner, Charli D’Amelio and more celebrities and influencers to launch their AI profiles.

And because interacting with them should feel like talking to familiar people, we did something to build on this even further. We partnered with cultural icons and influencers to play and embody some of these AIs. They’ll each have profiles on Instagram and Facebook, so you can explore what they’re all about,” a statement by Meta read.

Before he retired in 2019, Dwyane Wade was solidifying his status as a multi-faceted entrepreneur. The Miami Heat star has driven it further in recent years, including collaborating with his wife, Gabrielle Union to launch a baby-friendly brand.

His new venture adds to his $170 million fortune and makes him more accessible to fans. Among the character profiles, Wade’s character is Victor, an Ironman triathlete. True to the real-life athlete, Victor tries to motivate you to do your best.

Similarly, Chris Paul is Perry, a pro golfer who has nifty golf tips. You know it’s authentic because CP3 does swing a drive with panache.
