Jason Kidd has taken pride in Luka Doncic time and again. However this one time, he might have gone overboard by comparing the Dallas Mavericks superstar with legendary players like Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, etc. MJ has been the benchmark for comparisons. If you are better than the Chicago Bulls legend, then you are possibly already the GOAT, it’s as simple as that. Kidd believes Doncic is in the same atmosphere as MJ, but 3x 6MOTY Jamal Crawford denies it. He is tired of people comparing young stars with Jordan.
Crawford shared, “I’m kind of tired of people throwing around Michael Jordan’s name. Like what are we doing? We’re talking about Michael Jordan?… He’s the best ever…He’s too good to be compared to.” Crawford has made his point clear. Shaq also believes it’s too early to put Doncic in the same conversation as legends, but he wants to compare the Dallas star with Kobe Bryant. Moreover, Jason Kidd believes Doncic is already a better player than Dirk Nowitzki, which has triggered fans on social media.
