While Carmelo Anthony has his hands in various business endeavors, there’s one particular role he’s not keen on pursuing. He shared his reasoning in a recent discussion with Kevin Hart. In this candid conversation about the role, Hart concurred, albeit for a different and rather unconventional reason. The athlete recently teamed up with the Hollywood star for an episode of ‘Gold Minds.’ Throughout their conversation, Anthony delved into several important facets of his life.

Kevin Hart is not impressed with the coach’s fashion sense

When Hart inquired whether he had any interest in becoming a coach, Anthony gave a straightforward no as his response.

The ex-San Antonio Spurs player disclosed that he has no interest in getting entangled in the politics of the sport. While he derives enjoyment from the game itself, he doesn’t hold a fascination for the additional challenges that come with coaching. The 44-year-old appeared to be satisfied with this stance, stating, “I don’t wanna see you with a high slack. The pants that are right underneath your chest. He added, “Something weird happens when they start coaching, there is some really bad wardrobe change.” 

The actor appeared to strongly dislike the typical attire that coaches typically wear. While he has a platform for coaching to educate aspiring basketball players, assuming the role of a coach doesn’t seem to be in his future plans. However, he did express willingness to coach his son, and their training sessions are reportedly going well. A video clip of the father-son duo playing a game recently went viral on the internet.

After seeing the clip, Hart took issue with a specific aspect and decided to offer some advice to the former NBA player.

Kevin Hart gave parental advice to Carmelo Anthony

The rigorous training that Anthony is providing for his son appears to be yielding impressive outcomes. In that video clip, we witness the young athlete defeating his father in the game by scoring successfully. However, when observing Carmelo’s mixed reaction in response to this, Hart chimed in with his thoughts, stating, “Do this for me. Love your son after he wins.. give him a hug.”
