Charles Barkley is undeniably one of the most amusing personalities in the league. Days after sharing his hatred for Christmas, Chuck’s adorable cookie got a hilarious reaction from the TNT crew. While the NBA legend might have excelled in his basketball skills, he doesn’t seem to be an expert in baking cookies. 

Ahead of the grand Christmas celebrations, the TNT crew took on a Christmas cookie challenge. While the former Philadelphia 76ers forward certainly loves to indulge in Christmas delicacies, he isn’t one of those who is great at baking them. The participants were Los Angeles Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith, and Barkley. The challenge was to create a Christmas tree on the cookie.

While Ernie Johnson declared Smith as the winner, the Big Aristotle also showed impressive baking skills. Surprisingly, the Round Mound of Rebound was unable to beat his friendly rivals. Despite losing the challenge, however, Barkley’s cookie stole the spotlight. But for the wrong reason.

The Christmas tree design on the cookie wasn’t very impressive. Smith laughed while asking, “What is that?” as the tree was quite challenging to identify. But Barkley wasn’t going to let go of Smith so easily. Furthermore, Shaq described their attempts in a hilarious way. “That’s terrible (Pointing to Barkley’s cookie) and that’s awful (Pointing to Smith’s cookie),” claimed O’Neal.

It’s not just the cookie that the 11x NBA All-Star hates, the legend is not very fond of Christmas either.

What is the reason behind Charles Barkley’s dislike for Christmas?

Previously, in an episode of ‘The Steam Room’ podcast, the 60-year-old shared that he didn’t like a particular aspect of millions of people’s favorite festival Christmas. He doesn’t like the tradition of exchanging gifts basically.

Speaking of the real reason, he said, “You know, Christmas sucks. It’s the worst holiday ever…everybody just wants stuff”. While Christmas delights such as cookies do appeal to him, the prospect of being involved in Christmas traditions does not excite him. Which cookie was your favorite?
