Shaquille O’Neal undoubtedly stands as a prominent figure for the NBA’s All-Time Mount Rushmore. His remarkable skills and leadership led the Los Angeles Lakers to win three back-to-back NBA titles, the franchise’s only three-peat. However, he recently had to experience disappointment when renowned rapper Lil Wayne excluded him from his Mount Rushmore. And that too despite the duo once sharing a stage together.

The NBA legend himself shared the clip with his huge following of 32.9 million on his Instagram account.

Is Shaquille O’Neal snubbed from Lil Wayne’s list of Mount Rushmore?

The Big Aristotle undeniably stands as the greatest in the league, boasting impressive stats during his eight seasons as a Laker, with averages of 27 PPG, 11.2 RPG, and 2.5 BPG. For over 10 years, the legend dominated the league with his skills. Unfortunately, this was not enough for Lil Wayne.

However, despite his numerous accolades and achievements, he seems to have failed to earn Wayne’s admiration. In a collage clip, the 41-year-old was seen naming the top Lakers Mount Rushmore, followed by O’Neal’s reaction.

He initially mentioned, “Kareem, Magic, Kobe, and Shaq,” which filled the Lakers star with excitement, but his joy was short-lived. Wayne abruptly changed his choice, replacing Shaq with LeBron, leaving the legend visibly upset.
