Your friendly neighborhood DJ just lit up Romania. Shaquille O’Neal is spending the offseason on the Summer of Bass tour with his usual entourage. After London, the DJ Diesel crew boarded Shaq’s private jet to Romania. Model, DJ, and Shaq’s son, Myles O’Neal is his tour sidekick. But what got Myles ‘tangled’ at Electric Castle was not his dad but an unusual cameo appearance during the set. While getting the crowd at Electric Castle jumping, Shaq’s set was crashed by not one but two Spidermans. What does Myle do? Savor it of course.

Myles captured some of the best moments of the festival from the stage and shared them on his Instagram Stories. At some point a guy dressed as Spiderman (Tobey Maguire version) jumped on stage. Shaq didn’t mind, gave Spiderman #1 a hug, and encouraged him to jump on the table where Spidey pumped up the crowd.

Towards the end of Myles’ video, if you noticed another web-hands stage right, your spidey senses are spot on. A second Spiderman walked on the stage at the same time. The O’Neal-Spiderman connection just gets deeper beyond the Miles Morales (another character behind the webslinger) version of Shaq shimmying into a cat meme.

It would’ve been thrilling for Myles, a self-proclaimed Marvel fan obsessed with Spiderman. He’s fawned over the Tom Holland movies on social media several times. In 2021, he wrote on Twitter, “I’ll die over spider-man no way home,” over the MCU’s $1.9 billion blockbuster franchise. Another time he posted a musing most of us had at some time. ““I day dream about what it would be like to be apiderman way too much.”

He shares his obsession with his younger brother, Shareef who owns a Spiderman-themed PSP. Shareef was in the Bahamas though, celebrating their sister, Taahirah’s 28th birthday. Work commitments kept Shaq and Myles occupied across the pond.

DJ Diesel & Son dominate Europe

Shaq and Myles entered the EDM world almost at the same time. But by O’Neal’s admission, Myles is way better than him and he’s ever supportive of his talent. While Myles books his own gigs, they’ve been bass music’s father-son duo for a while now. Apart from regularly featuring in the annual Super Bowl festival, Shaq’s Fun House.

He’s joined him on several festivals and the 2023 Summer of Bass tour. It was a given that Myles also joined him this year. He shared glimpses of boarding O’Neal’s private jet while taking a jab at the global Microsoft outage that hampered air travel. He didn’t spare Shaq either, exposing his in-flight sleeping face.

The crew got much-needed bear naps before hitting the stage at Cluj-Napoca. Next on the schedule for the Dad-Son DJs is Croatia. Both Shaq and Myles are in the lineup for Forestland 2024 on Saturday. It would be worth seeing what version of Spiderman crashes this set.
