The wedding bells are just around the corner for the Jordan household. Michael Jordan‘s son Marcus has been in a committed relationship with Larsa Pippen and the two have reached the point where they wish to settle down for good. The two have been talking about taking the plunge for a long time now.

Recently, Marcus and Larsa talked about the impending engagement and where they are currently with the process. During a recent conversation with People, the two spilled beans on their preparations.

Michael Jordan’s son is ready to settle down

Marcus and Larsa have made a lot of noise with their relationship in recent months. The history associated with their last names has a lot to do with the buzz around their relationship. Larsa is the ex-wife of Scottie Pippen, Michael’s Chicago Bulls teammate. It was obvious from the beginning that their relationship would be discussed and dissected by everyone with a platform. That is exactly what has taken place in the last few months. However, the lovebirds are completely unbothered by the outside noise as they inch closer to their big day. Recently they addressed their engagement rumors.

When asked about why they aren’t engaged yet, Marcus said “It’s in the works”. Whereas Larsa said that they’re looking for rings and have been on a shopping spree for the same reason. Showing her excitement for the impending engagement, Larsa said that she has all her faith in Marcus with his choice for the ring. She said, “I feel like Marcus has got great taste, and I feel like I know that he’s not going to disappoint us”. The two also talked about their popular podcast Separation Anxiety and said that getting to work with his “best friend” is a true blessing for him.

Marcus Jordan’s special request for his father

This is not the first time Marcus has talked about tying the knot with Larsa. A few months ago, while discussing the same topic, he expressed a special request he has for his father. Marcus said that he would want his father to be the best man at his wedding. As per the 32-year-old, Michael Jordan would be the perfect man for the job.

He also said that since he was MJ’s best man at his wedding, this could also be an opportunity for his father to return the favor and bless him with a special moment. Whether MJ would come through for Marcus or not, we’ll get to know in time. As of now, all we know is that the Jordan family will soon have one extra member.
