David Barreiro is a radio host from the twin cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. He is the host of a famous talk show on KFAN 100.3-FM.

In a recent interview with “FOX 9 Minneapolis-St. Paul”, the radio talk show host recalls his hilarious encounter with Charles Barkley once. David Barreiro says, “I can still remember the time when I was writing a long press roll. The Wolves were awful. Probably one of those seasons where they won like 17 games.”

He further explains, “Out of a break, Charles Barkley walks by. I think he was with the Phoenix at that time…and he looks at us, he kind of doesn’t know any of us but he knows we are the media. And he says, ‘Y’all can’t possibly be paid enough to watch this bleep night after night after night.”

David Barreiro then confesses that all he wants is for that kind of disrespect to the Timberwolves to go away.

David Barreiro’s Hopes for the ‘New’ Timberwolves Squad

As a talk show host on KFAN 100.3-FM in the twin cities of Minneapolis-St, David Barreiro has always had an inclination toward the Minnesota Timberwolves. He talks about the current Minnesota Timberwolves squad in the same interview with “Fox 9”.

Barreiro mentions, “They are doing what serious teams do…and rarely has this been a serious team.”

The hosts of the “Fox 9 Minneapolis-St. Paul” also agreed with David Barreiro about the Timberwolves’s current NBA performance. With an impressive start to the new NBA season, the Minnesota Timberwolves now seem to be the ‘dark horse’ in the 2023-2024 NBA season.
