In what has been a whirlwind month, Chicago Sky’s newest addition, Angel Reese, is shining both on and off the court. From being crowned as the 2024 SEC Player of the Year to soaring to the No. 7 overall pick in the WNBA draft on April 15, the 22-year-old showcases extensive basketball skills. Not just that, she recently achieved another feat at the Louisiana State University.

Reese bids adieu to Baton Rouge, the ground that armed her with a basketball career along with a graduation degree. Notably, Reese majored in interdisciplinary studies and communication studies with minor subjects such as leadership development, and psychology during these four years.

To share this ecstatic news among her supporters, and family members, she took it to her official Instagram account and posted a couple of pictures highlighting her graduation cap. Alongside the pictures, she penned a heartfelt note, “So now what? what was said? oh okay that’s what I thought. I graduated from THE LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY IN 4 YEARS ON TIME💋 I thought somebody without a college degree said sum.”

Within a couple of minutes, the post started making waves online, captivating thousands to like. Not just this, the post also garnered attention from celebrities like Coco Gauff and La La Anthony, urging them to dive into the comment section. But what did all these celebrities say?

It is nothing else but the appreciation of this big achievement. La La Anthony extends her congratulations to the 22-year-old with a touch of warmth saying “Congratulations love ❤️❤️❤️❤️” while Coco Gauff keeps it succinct with a simple “congrats ❤️❤️❤️” Some of the other names include Lisa Leslie who wrote, “lol!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”.

Yet, Reese’s allure transcends her graduation. Interestingly, her legacy at LSU is already etched in the historical records of LSU, especially after her pivotal role in securing the Tigers’ first-ever national championship. Moreover, it’s not even the first time when celebrities are left mesmerized by her achievements and performance.

Before this, she was also hailed by Shaquille O’Neal himself as “probably the greatest athlete ever” to grace the school hall.
