The 11x NBA All-Star recently sat down for an amusing conversation with Drew Stoltz and Colt Knost on the podcast, ‘Gravy & The Sleeze.’ While praising his own golfing skills, the 1993 NBA MVP stated how after special guidance, he is all ready to face the golfing greats as well.

Charles Barkley has immense faith in his coach and in himself

Chuck initially showed great skills in golf. However, his success was restricted due to his odd and unconventional swing. A swing that Michael Jordan publicly belittled on Oprah! Even after numerous training sessions and guidance, there was a decline in Barkley’s golfing abilities over time.

Despite the criticism, he has continued to pursue his passion. While some fans remain skeptical of his skills, the legend finally seems to have turned over a new leaf. He even stated that one of the hosts, Colt Knost was avoiding playing with Barkley because he’s aware that the NBA giant would outperform him. During the podcast, Chuck said, “You know Colt. I know I’m playing great cause you ducking me.

That was quite a bold statement from the Philadelphia 76ers legend. Colt Knost was a pro who played the PGA Tour. He’s also the third player ever to win 3 USGA events in a single year, a feat he accomplished in 2007. Though Knost, like Chuck, now works as an analyst, Barkley is still rather bold to assume that the former Pro golfer is avoiding him on the course.
