Michael Jordan was a terrifying opponent to face on the court. The 6x champion deserved the respect that he got, but that did not mean that he was not treated like any other player. Although history has shown that giving Jordan a reason to try harder can be a problem, an NBA analyst believes that no one dared to get on the bad side of His Airness.

The recent exchange between LeBron James and Ime Udoka has become a major point of conversation. While Skip Bayless was on his routine act of bashing LeBron, he claimed that Michael Jordan would never receive such calls from anyone. This led to formerly the Lakers’ Eddie Johnson calling out Bayless for his atrocious take on TV.

Michael Jordan received the same treatment as others

In a recent episode of Undisputed, the exchange between LeBron and Udoka was a topic of conversation. On this note, Bayless did not want to let go of any opportunity to take a swing at LeBron James. During their conversation, Skip mentioned that no one would call Michael Jordan ‘the b-word’.

This led to Keyshawn Johnson saying that on the court, players call each other many things, and even Michael Jordan would have received his fair share of verbal pleasantries. Skip clarified that MJ would not receive such names as he was not that kind of person. This then made Johnson ask him if he thought LeBron was the kind of person to receive this name-calling from Udoka.

Bayless replied, “I don’t know. They look at LeBron as a nice guy. A really nice guy.” Eddie Johnson saw this and was not happy. He shared the video on Twitter and wrote, “So Dumb. Plenty of players cursed him out. Water Pistol Pete. You think he was Mike Tyson?“.

As a player who played against Michael Jordan in his prime, Johnson knew that even Jordan had been called plenty of things on the court. Meanwhile, Eddie Johnson also added a sour memory from Skip Bayless’ past in his reply.

While debating about players filling various positions in the NBA, Jalen Rose went in on Bayless, as he was constantly disregarding all points being made by Rose.
