Ever since the All-Star weekend, many have wondered “where is Vince Carter?” Turns out, he’s been busy in a whole different arena—golf. Half man, half amazing, fully committed to golf excellence! He has been making waves with a golf club, swinging with the same intensity he once brought to the rim.

On Wednesday, Carter joined an elite group at the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard pro-am. The PGA TOUR event saw him team up with golf star Tony Finau, MLB legend Ken Griffey Jr., and former NFL tight end Kyle Rudolph. The official PGA TOUR page didn’t let this star power go unnoticed, sharing a post that perfectly summed up the moment: “Four Sports. One Group.”

But for Kyle Rudolph, the experience was more than just another round of golf. The former NFL player took a moment to share just how special the day was. “For a kid who grew up ‘swinging like Ken’ and ‘dunking like Vince’ in the backyard, yesterday was one for the books!!” he wrote on his Instagram Story, tagging Carter and the rest of the group.

And of course, Vince Carter saw it and had to respond. He reshared Rudolph’s post on his IG Story with a simple but heartfelt message: “My guy!!!”

Interestingly, VC doesn’t just show up for big events; he’s been playing for years. Just last year, he teed off at the Steve Harvey Golf Charity Classic, showing that his passion for the game runs deep. At the same event, NBA analyst Bob Ryan, comedian Steve Harvey, radio host Angie Martinez, and Pastor Keion Henderson also joined him.

What’s in Vince Carter’s golf bag?

Turns out, Vince Carter isn’t just bringing his A-game to the golf course—he’s also bringing some top-tier equipment. During the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard pro-am, Carter shared some insights about his gear. Speaking with GolfWRX.com, he made one thing clear: he doesn’t have a sponsorship deal with any particular brand. Unlike some athletes who switch equipment based on endorsements, Carter plays with what works best for him.

So, what does he use? Ping Golf—every single club in his bag. Carter has been loyal to Ping for as long as he can remember, and for good reason. “I’ve just always had the best results with Ping,” he said, explaining why he’s never felt the need to experiment with other brands.

But what exactly is in his bag? Carter’s setup includes the Ping G430 Max driver (9 degrees), Ping G430 Max 3-wood (15 degrees), and Ping G430 Max 7-wood (21 degrees). His irons? A full set of Ping i230 (4-PW). For wedges, he carries the Ping Glide 4.0 (50 degrees) and Ping S159 Midnight (54 and 58 degrees). And when it comes to putting, he trusts the Ping Anser.

Clearly, Carter knows what works, and he’s sticking with it.
