Dwight Howard was synonymous with dominance on the court. As an athlete, he has soared to remarkable heights. Yet, beyond the roaring crowd, the athlete decided to embark on an entirely different kind of adventure. Earlier this year, the athlete joined a military training American reality TV show called “Special Forces” World’s Toughest Test.” From writing a painful letter to brutal workouts, this was a daring experience for the 3x Defensive Player of the Year.

The “Special Forces” show was an eye-opener for Dwight Howard

As the next season of the series is slated to release, past contestants of the show are reminiscing about their experiences. Howard, alongside other celebrity contestants, were challenged to push their limits like never before. One of the participants, 33-year-old Olympic medalist Nastia Liukin, shared a picture from the show on her IG story, which the 2020 NBA Champion quickly reshared.

The post was captioned, “last photo reminiscing about this moment and the backpack we had to carry/run with/ swim with/ etc at all the times-that was basically half my body weight….and miss you too @dwighthoward.”

However, with only three participants including him on the show, the athlete could not survive the final battle and was eliminated.

Dwight Howard could not survive the military battle

The show gained a lot of love from the fans and viewers. From being exposed to tear gas to being interrogated by the enemy party, the challenges were even more intense towards the end.

During the interrogation segment, the Orlando Magic legend was no longer able to cope with it. He was ultimately eliminated from the series after his behavior towards the female interrogator turned rude.
