It did not come as a surprise that the NFL players were shocked to see the towering height of the new owner of the team, particularly cornerback Emmanuel Forbes Jr. But it seems that height is not the only difference between them.
As some of the players expressed their opinions on how they might be able to play in the NBA, Johnson broke their dreams as he described another significant difference.
“I said, ‘Well the difference is we play for four games and five nights in four different cities. Can you handle that? Uh…82 games, can you handle that? Are you about that?’ And they started laughing,” revealed the new owner of the Washington Commanders.
Not only the point guard’s height but also his days in the NBA seemed to have taken the players by surprise.
