Emirates Airlines has made a multi-year sponsorship deal with the NBA. The airline looks to raise its profile in the United States. “Our eyes have always been on the NBA,” said Emirates executive Boutros Boutros, during an event at the airline’s headquarters.

From 2024 the NBA cup will be named the Emirates NBA Cup. The official partnership would start with the All-Stars Games which are commencing on 18 February 2024, where the Emirates logo will be featured on all referee’s jerseys.  Emirates will also have access to games through their airline’s inflight entertainment system. It will also include long-form documentaries, player profiles, interviews and more.
