He recently took his love for F1 a level up by declaring that he wants to own an F1 team. Although Shaq’s response was to a question on which NBA team he would like to own, he ended his answer with the willingness to explore the F1 world as well.

The Big Man said, “Even though I can’t fit in one of those damn cars”, he is willing to invest in the sport if a good opportunity presents itself. So, if there’s someone from F1 who has a good enough proposal for the Big Man, now is the time to reach out to him. The 4x NBA champion is also on the lookout for an NBA team as he wishes to become a majority owner in the league. But, if that dream is going to take some time to come to fruition, F1 is his next best choice.

Shaquille O’Neal hosted Club SI at F1 Las Vegas

The Formula One was recently in Vegas and the hype for that event was through the roof. As someone who wishes to do business in Vegas, it was a perfect opportunity for Shaq to leave his mark there. So, the Big Man, along with his friend and soccer legend David Beckham hosted the Club SI at the event. The two had several conversations about their respective careers and also hung out with the other guests at the venue.

Shaq said, “Having attended Club SI at other Grand Prix races, I can say with certainty, when it comes to the celebration of sports, SI never disappoints. I’m excited to catch up with David and connect with race fans from the best seats in Vegas.” As for his other business in Vegas, the Big Man is looking to bag the upcoming NBA franchise in Vegas. Although there is no certainty on when the NBA will go through with their plans, Vegas and Seattle are the front runners for the spot.
