The stars returned to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show both on and off the runway. Witnessing Tyra Banks, Kate Moss, and Irina Shayk get their wings out were some of their biggest celebrity fans. La La Anthony, who’s been a VSF regular for a while now, was back too. She made sure her 14.9 million followers saw the America’s Next Top Model legend close out the show for the first time in 20 years.

La La Anthony arrived at the pink carpet in an all-black number by Kamila Purshie, complete with thigh-high stockings, boots, little sunglasses, and chunky gold bangles. Her recent public sightings were with her natural brunette hair, but she pulled up on the pink carpet in a blonde updo that’s giving Pamela Anderson.

She had a front-row seat to Tyra Banks’ return to the runway after nearly two decades. The last time she walked on the runway (outside of ANTM) was in the 2005 show. The 50-year-old mogul strutted in a black outfit too. A lot like her outfits in her past shows, the corset was bedazzled with silver jewels, with sparkling leggings to match and a dramatic metallic cape flowing behind her. Banks was the first African-American to walk in the VS show and her return marks a major page-turner for the brand’s revival.

La La shared her pink carpet arrival and interview snaps on her Instagram Stories. In the GRWM spirit, she even shared her hairstylist’s posts doing her new blonde hair.

But she also threw in her self-filmed videos of Tyra’s comeback and all the models – including Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Ashley Graham, Candice Swanepoel, Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Barbara Palvin – in the finale.

She wasn’t the only one stunned by the angels. Chicago Sky stars, Kysre Gondrezick and Angel Reese were showstoppers themselves. Cher, Tyla, Queen Latifah, were some of the biggest stars in attendance.

La La Anthony’s VS journey comes full circle

It also marks La La Anthony’s return in a way. After she married Carmelo Anthony in 2010, La La attended her first VS fashion show in 2013, seated next to Ciara. She’d come back to the 2018 show in a wild metallic zebra outfit that was a viral hit online on its own. It was cancelled the following year.

The VS Fashion show had struggled after that under criticism and waning revenues. After it was briefly cancelled for five years, the company announced in 2022 that it’s bringing back the biggest event of its calendar. For the 2024 combeack, it brought back some of its most famous faces like Banks, Irina Shayk and Kate Moss walking the runway to musical performances by Cher and Tyla.

Shayk last walked in the VS show while pregnant in 2016. Moss had officially hung up her wings in 2004 but tonight, she showed why she’s got the best catwalks of all-time.

It was also about the debutantes like Angel Reese. She arrived in a new hairstyle, a gorgeous red number that bared her back, and no wrist brace this time.
