324 Lbs Shaquille O’Neal Snubbed by Angel Reese in Bizarre Battle Against Caitlin Clark: “You Gotta Get in the Gym”

There was that glitch in time before the WNBA draft when Shaquille O’Neal had some constructive criticism on Caitlin Clark’s shooting. By most accounts, Shaq should be the last person to give advice on shooting with his less-than-stellar rate from the 3-point line. So it was only natural to ask the newly minted WNBA pros who have played against Clark in college who would win between CC and Big Diesel. But there’s a catch. And a handicap for Clark.
An Instagram Reel perfectly spoils, “Watch ‘til the end for Caitlin Clark’s answer,” when the biggest WNBA rookies were asked, “Who you got winning a 3-point contest between a blindfolded Caitlin Clark or a prime Shaquille O’Neal?” All of them – from Rickea Jackson to Kamilla Cardoso – picked Clark. Even Shaq’s “niece,” Angel Reese couldn’t pick him in good conscience.
“Realistic” Reese even explained her reasoning to not pick her mentor and fellow LSU alum. “It doesn’t matter if she’s blindfolded or not. She gon’ make ’em.” She had a little advice to her ‘unc’ who has made only one out of 22 3-point attempts in a stacked NBA career of 19 seasons. “You gotta get in the gym Shaq like you tell me.” All this for giving some pointers to Clark.

But Clark? “Shaq.” She was quite certain too. It wasn’t about his 4.5 percentage from the 3-point line. “Yeah, I mean, I… blindfolded is crazy. I can’t see the rim. I’ll let Shaq take that.”

Aaliyah Edwards, who also picked Clark, was informed that Clark is the only one who picked Shaq. She responded, “She’s too humble.” The no.1 draft pick is the only different answer from Jackson, Cardoso, Edwards, Elizabeth Kitley, Celeste Taylor, Nika Muhl, Cameron Brink, and Alissa Pili.
Shaq knows Caitlin Clark can outscore
Shaq finally made a much-awaited appearance on his buddy, Charles Barkley’s CNN show, King Charles before its finale. They extensively discussed women’s basketball and O’Neal credited Clark and Reese for making it happen. He even compared Clark to Steph Curry.

But in all that praise, he slipped in a little critique. “A lot of times she takes those ill-advised shots that me and Chuck don’t like.” However, he added, “But they go in. Not only do they go in, they go in consistently.”

He didn’t say if he had the confidence to win against her though. As much as O’Neal tries to manifest himself as Curry, his free throws leave a little to be desired. Maybe he’d have to prove to the new class of WNBA players that he can make a shot or two against Clark. Who do you think would win between Clark and Shaq? But remember, Clark is blindfolded.
