Current generation superstar LeBron James probably came up against an upcoming superstar on Friday. The two players met each other when the Memphis Grizzlies visited Staples Center for a game against Los Angeles Lakers.
After the Lakers’ 117-105 win, James went to the youngster and embraced him.

“I don’t know him personally so I can’t say how great of a kid he is or not but he seems like a really good one,” James said in October. “He seems like he loves the game. Both of my kids love him. They love his game.”
After Friday’s game, James and Morant no longer remain strangers. The veteran not only embraced the rookie but also extended his hand for help. “No matter what you need (don’t hesitate), ok? On and off the field, whatever! “: James said to Morant while he embraced him.
