Reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo
In a few months, Giannis Antetokounmpo might be most talked-about in the trade rumours in NBA. His current contract runs through till the end of the 2020-21 NBA season and he will be eligible for a super-max deal.
Whether Giannis will extend his contract with the Bucks is already a discussion that has gained much attention. Teams are already reported to be looking at ways to lure the Greek Freak in.
Amidst such discussions, according to The Athletic, there does not seem to be any apparent bitterness between the Bucks and Antetokounmpo. They reported that the franchise is confident of the relationship with their star forward.

But of course, a good relationship in itself might not be enough to keep a player of such caliber. The way things pan out in the postseason remains an extremely key factor.
The Bucks are currently comfortably on top of the Eastern Conference with an impressive 0.857 record having lost just six games out of 42. Their 36 wins is eight more than the next best in the conference and three more than the next best in the league. Realistically, the Bucks should be comfortably qualifying for the play-offs, but they will have eyes on the bigger picture- the Championship.

Last season they had lost the Conference finals and they will want to better that this time. A Championship could certainly keep Giannis in Milwaukee.

Giannis Antetokounmpo- a major piece in the Bucks lineup
At 25, Antetokounmpo is already an NBA MVP. He still has a good number of prime years left in him and that is the reason why teams will be swooping on him if decides to make a move.
However, Giannis making a move will mean a lot of work for Milwaukee Bucks. The kind of player Giannis is, he would fit almost in any team and is hard to replace. The Bucks have been impressive in the last few years with Giannis, but if he decides to leave, they will suddenly be without a player to build the team around.
