Ja Morant has faced criticism and backlash after a recent incident where he was seen brandishing a gun during an Instagram Live session. This situation adds to the growing concerns surrounding the two-time NBA All-Star. However, amidst these troubles, his sister’s career is flourishing. In fact, Angel Reese, a prominent college basketball player, has showered Morant’s 18-year-old sister with immense praise for her achievements.

As the NBA reviews the situation, the Memphis Grizzlies have taken the decision to suspend Ja Morant from all basketball activities. The outcome of this review will determine whether Morant faces another suspension or not. It remains to be seen how these actions will impact the Grizzlies in the upcoming season and potentially have long-term repercussions for the franchise.

Unfortunately, Ja Morant did not make it onto the All-NBA second or third teams. Had he been selected for one of these prestigious teams, he would have become eligible for a supermax contract extension. However, Morant recently signed a contract with the Memphis Grizzlies worth approximately $193 million. If he had been included in the All-NBA teams, he would have qualified for a more substantial extension valued at around $231 million. Thus, his absence from the teams resulted in a loss of approximately $39 million over the next five seasons for Morant.
