This year?s draft picks are now making headlines ever since the NBA held the much-awaited event on Thursday. As speculated, the Spurs drafted the Frenchman Victor Wembanyama as the first pick. Meanwhile, speculations went wrong in the projected second pick Scoot Henderson?s case as the Hornets selected Brandon Miller instead of him as the second pick. But it is not just these top three youngsters that have been making headlines. Recently, a 19-year-old draft night star also turned fans? heads.?

The draft night star, however, caught the basketball world’s attention again for a hilarious on-air antic. He did not hold himself back from impersonating an iconic Disney character. Fans, however, are not so happy with the 19-year-old’s escapade.

Draft night star’s hilarious antic goes viral on NBA Twitter

As the thirteenth pick, the Toronto Raptors drafted the Kansas Jayhawks‘ 19-year-old ace shooter Gradey Dick. Soon after the draft, Dick proclaimed that he is ready to make big friends in Toronto. Dick said he wants the Toronto-based hip-hop superstar Drake to wear his jersey. Now, Gradey Dick has made news for a different reason.

Shortly after the draft, Gradey Dick took to the SirusXM NBA Radio’s studio to have a free-wheeling conversation with the hosts. The conversation indeed turned candid. The hosts requested the 19-year-old to impersonate the iconic character, Donald Duck from the Mickey Mouse Club House?show. After patiently preparing for the impersonation, Dick said, ?What’s up, I’m Gradey Dick?I’m going to Toronto,? in Donald Duck’s voice.

Bleacher Report tweeted a snippet of the impersonation and captioned their tweet,?“Gradey Dick’s impersonation of Donald Duck is UNREAL.”?

Though Gradey Dick’s impersonation of the Disney character was unreal and funny, not all fans seem to have enjoyed the antic. The ones that disliked Dick’s escapade foresee an underwhelming career for him with the Raptors.

Furthermore, some have even used the opportunity to poke fun at the draft night star’s bright red suit and even his second name. Anyhow, the Donald Duck impersonation gained the most of fan fury. “Unbelievably cringe. This is enough to make me a hate a player for there entire career..,” said a fan.
