March Madness is as exhilarating as the moniker promises – and now it’s time for the grand finale. After another dominant display, #4 Connecticut won their Final Four game 72-59 against #5 Miami. The UConn Huskies started the game off in spectacular form going 9-0 in the first three minutes. They did not look back. The Huskies were unstoppable throughout the game and the Hurricanes had no answer. With this win, the Huskies are all set to face off against #5 San Diego State in an epic NCAA Final. Fans are more than excited.

However, UConn head coach Dan Hurley is “not that excited”, despite the win. The San Diego State Aztecs had never advanced past the Sweet Sixteen before this season. On the other hand, the Huskies have won four NCAA titles so far and will look to add one more to their trophy cabinet. Notably, UConn has never lost in the NCAA Finals – they’ve won in all four appearances.

The UConn Huskies are enjoying one of the most dominant runs in the NCAA Tournament, having defeated five teams by at least 13 points each. Their veteran-ship was yet again on full display in the semi-final against the Miami Hurricanes. Miami could only come within eight points of their target during the entire game, when the score reached 53-45 in the second half.

After the win and having reaching the NCAA Finals once again, head coach Dan Hurley spoke to his team in the locker room. Hurley admitted that he wasn’t surprised that they would be playing for the title. In fact, there was never any doubt for him, he maintained.
