Stephen Curry and his ‘Bang.Bang’ shot against Oklahoma City Thunder in 2016 have found a place in NBA’s highlights of previous years’ gameplays. The clip, uploaded on the NBA’s official Twitter handle has generated quite a reaction from fans and players alike. Surprisingly, Philadelphia 76ers’ Al Horford has a very interesting take on that shot. The Dominican star declared the shot from Curry was one of the toughest shots ever.

The shot is definitely one of the most glorious plays ever made in the NBA. The distance, the timing, and the jump were all executed to perfection by Stephen Curry.

Stephen Curry scores 46 points with record 12- 3 pointers
To weigh in about that shot, let’s go back to February 27, 2016, at Chesapeake Energy Arena. It’s 4th quarter, Warriors are trailing by nine with less than 3.40 minutes to go. Enter clutch Stephen Curry and that great defense from Warrior. Match gets tie at 103-103. Overtime kicks in. Stephen Curry rises to the occasion with five minutes added to the clock. He dishes out two back to back 3s and then proceeds to break his season record of 3 pointers (which is still a record: 402). But the opposition duo of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are also in no mood to give up the match.
The clock is at 29.5 seconds with the game again tie at 118-118 due to Klay Thompson. Curry gets the ball from OKC’s Russell Westbrook with merely 6 seconds remaining on the clock. He drills a 37-foot pull-up triple in transition to lift Golden State Warriors to victory.
