Andre Iguodala was a crucial piece for the Golden State Warriors during their championship runs. However, after five straight trips to the finals with the Dubs, Iggy will make his sixth finals appearance, but with the Miami Heat.
The 36-year-old struggled to find his touch throughout the entire ECF series, but showed up big time when the team needed him the most. Iguodala scored 15 points for the Heat in Game 6 while not missing even a single time. Moreover, the veteran drained 4 three-pointers and played an excellent role in Game 6.
According to ESPN’s Nick Friedell, Iggy’s former coach Steve Kerr and the Warriors praised the veteran’s performance.

Following a brilliant performance, Iggy’s Heat will face the Lakers in the NBA Finals. One might think that the Lakers should cruise it, but this Heat team has already proved they can’t be underestimated.
Under the tough leadership style of superstar Jimmy Butler, they are 12-3 so far in the Playoffs. Guess what? the Lakers have the same record as the Heat Nation. One thing is certain, both the teams have insane potential and the finals might go either way.
How are things looking for the Golden State Warriors?

While their former star Andre Iguodala is heading to another NBA finals, the Warriors themselves have had a forgettable season. After winning 3 out of the last 5 rings in the league, the Dubs finished at the bottom of the barrel this year.
They posted a record of 15-50, but it was in the absence of the Splash Brothers. Both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson’s unavailability sank the Warriors’ ship in the 2019-20 season. However, they did earn the #2 pick following this poor regular season.

The Warriors might make a comeback to the NBA finals in the very next season if they play their cards right. Considering Steph and Klay pick up the form right where they left in the 2019 NBA finals.
But what do you think? Will the Golden State Warriors still be championship favorites or not?
