The Brooklyn Nets face the Atlanta Hawks again tonight as they hope to beat them once more. Their last game was a high-scoring affair with the Nets coming out on top. But the Hawks won’t be disheartened by that four-point loss and will aim for a win tonight.
The Nets form has been a mixed bag so far. They started the season with two dominant wins, but surprisingly lost to the Hornets after that. In the absence of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant, they lost once again to the Grizzlies before beating the Hawks in their last game.
The Hawks lost their first game of the season last time against the Nets. They have been excellent so far, especially on offense. They currently average the most points per game in the NBA and have been tough to stop.

Expected Lineups
The Nets’ season was dealt an early blow following Spencer Dinwiddie’s injury. He is out indefinitely after suffering from a partially torn ACL. In their last game, Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot got the start instead.
Their lineup is likely to remain the same as the previous game. Kyrie Irving and Joe Harris will start as the guards, Kevin Durant and Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot as the forwards, and DeAndre Jordan will man the center spot.

The Hawks are dealing with their own injury problems too. New arrivals Danilo Gallinari and Rajon Rondo have barely played two games so far, and they are once again doubtful for the Nets game. On the other hand, rookie Onyeka Okongwu and backup guard Kris Dunn haven’t played at all yet and will be out tonight.
They will also have an unchanged lineup, with Trae Young and De’Andre Hunter as the guards, Cam Reddish and John Collins as the forwards, with Clint Capela as the center.

Can the Brooklyn Nets grab their second win in a row?
The Nets survived a scare in their last game and managed to win. Both teams have a lot of offensive firepower, but the Nets are deeper as well. Their bench will be a crucial factor in this game, and the Hawks’ injuries could hurt them. Unless we see a masterclass from Trae Young, it is unlikely that they come away with a win.
The Nets will be expected to 4-2 for the season with this win and build towards being the best team out East.
