The Los Angeles Lakers worked their socks off once again, as they beat the OKC Thunder tonight. They had to go to overtime again, but they showed no weariness while overcoming the Thunder for the second night in a row. LeBron James led from the front and was once again their hero.

This was his third game in a row playing over 40 minutes. But the 36-year-old gave his 100% throughout the game and didn’t look tired. During the post-game interview, Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma praised LeBron for this resilience.

He said, “Being tired is just in your head… that dude’s a beast. If he says he doesn’t get tired, he doesn’t get tired.”

LeBron is now averaging 35.5 minutes per game, which is the sixth-highest for a 36-year-old in NBA history. But none of the five players above him in that list were in their 18th season in the league. LeBron has been doing this for almost two decades now, but he isn’t ready to stop anytime soon.

The Lakers came into the game without Anthony Davis. He was diagnosed with an Achilles’ tendinosis and hasn’t played their last two games. But further affecting the Lakers tonight was their poor three-point shooting. They shot 28% as a team from the three-point line and couldn’t get their offense going.

With just 20 seconds left on the clock, the Lakers were trailing by three. LeBron took responsibility and drained a three to bring them level. As the team looked to him to rescue them, he stepped up and took responsibility.
