After a gruesome injury in the 2019 NBA Finals, Kevin Durant stayed on the sidelines for over a year. He finally returned to action with the Nets this season and has picked up from where he left off.
Tonight, against the Milwaukee Bucks, he had another brilliant performance. He scored 30 points while grabbing nine rebounds and six assists. But most importantly, he shot the eventual game-winning three. After the game, Blazers star CJ McCollum and Durant’s former teammate Andre Iguodala were praising him on Twitter.
🤣🤣🤣 never played with him before . But worked out with him a few times and thought damn he really a cheat code https://t.co/BqUuDXhHgb

Iguodala, who won two titles with Durant at Golden State, had the highest of praises for the Slim Reaper. He said, “Buddy a god!” while talking about how it was amazing to play alongside him. McCollum agreed while admitting that Durant had looked like a “cheat code” when they had worked out a few times in the past.
James Harden praises Kevin Durant
After 11 games this season, Durant ranks second in scoring and is averaging 30.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game. From the top six scorers in the league currently, he is the only one shooting over 50% from the field. He is also the only one who is shooting above 40% from three. This just shows how complete his game is on the offensive end.

Harden had high praise for KD after the game as well. He said, “I know what type of player Kevin Durant is. He’s one of the best players to ever touch a basketball. It’s God-given, 7-foot, and can basically do everything. For me, it’s not trying to compete with that. It’s allowing Kevin to be the best Kevin he can be.”

While Harden was termed a selfish player at Houston, he is willing to adapt his game now, to play alongside Durant. If they are able to maintain chemistry, and also get Kyrie Irving on board, they will be a force to be reckoned with.
