Last night, the Boston Celtics were served their first defeat of the postseason. With 0.5 seconds left, the Celtics were up by two points. But then OG Anunoby scored a buzzer-beater to win the game for the Raptors.

Young star Jaylen Brown was left frustrated by the last-second loss. But he also took the blame for it.

“That was just a f**king disgrace at the end of the game,” Brown said in the post-game interview.

“That was just terrible. No way we should have lost that game. I take responsibility for that. Not just that play, but a lot of the plays before. And it happens. This is the NBA playoffs. Either you let them gain momentum or you come back and be ready to play next game.”

Can the Boston Celtics bounce back?

With less than two seconds left on the clock, the scores were tied at 101-101. Kemba Walker had the ball as he danced past the Raptors players before making a defense-splitting pass to Daniel Theis, who made no mistake on the open dunk and put the Celtics up by two.

The Raptors could inbound the ball to Anunoby in the opposite corner, over all the Celtics players. And the 23-year-old showed no nerves as he buried the shot with Brown charging to close him down.  It was a defensive lapse for the Celtics, and the Raptors made the most out of it.

It was an off game for the Celtics who were let down by their star, Jayson Tatum. The 22-year-old went 5/18 from the field and hurt his team’s chances to grab the win.

Heading into Game 4, the Celtics have a good chance to go 3-1 up. They have successfully stopped the Raptors’ biggest threat on offense, Pascal Siakam, and have kept him quiet. He is averaging 15.3 points per game in the series while shooting a horrendous 18% from the three-point line.

After going unbeaten so far, a loss now could be a wake-up call for the Celtics to stay consistent and not be overconfident. They have the ability and momentum to win the series, and they just need to stay focused to achieve just that.
