After the NBA season ends, there’s a lot of time where basketball fans have nothing to think about or discuss. But to fill this void, LeBron James is bringing his highly-anticipated movie, Space Jam 2.
The Lakers star has appeared on the silver screen before. He had a documentary titled More Than a Game, and he also had cameos in the comedy series Entourage and the comedy film Trainwreck. So, this is the first movie where he plays a fictional role and is the protagonist.

LeBron recently gave an interview, where he expressed his excitement about being part of the Space Jam franchise. He spoke about how Space Jam was one of his favorite movies growing up.
He said, “There were a lot of films for me, but Space Jam was definitely up there. Just growing up and loving the NBA, and obviously loving Michael Jordan, and loving the Looney Tunes, it was an automatic and a very organic blend between the two worlds.
“And it was fun to see what MJ and Bugs and Taz and all those great toons were able to go through in that first movie. So it definitely had a big part of my childhood.”

Just a few days ago, LeBron shared a few more snippets as part of a sneak peek of the movie. He shared them on Twitter with the caption, “Y’ALL NOT READY FOR THIS SQUAD!!!!”
The first two photos were of the April edition of the Entertainment Weekly magazine, where LeBron and the Toon squad are on the cover. In the third picture, Bron is on his way to a ferocious dunk holding an electrifying ball. And finally, in the last picture, LeBron looks annoyed and is alongside Tweety.
