Preview | Brooklyn Nets

The Nets became the most dangerous team in the league when they traded for James Harden. They retained this title with their recent exploits which have come in the absence of Kevin Durant. Kyrie Irving and Harden have stepped up as leaders and are leading them to big wins.

Landry Shamet (chest), Jeff Green (shoulder), and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (hip) are listed as questionable for the game, while Durant (hamstring) is still out.

Preview | Orlando Magic

The Magic have been the unluckiest team with recurring injuries to their important players. They started the season without Jonathan Isaac, lost an in-form Markelle Fultz next, followed by Aaron Gordon, and rookie Cole Anthony being the latest to join the injury list. Isaac and Fultz will not return this season while Gordon and Anthony will need a few more weeks.

Center – Nikola Vucevic

Predictions | Nets vs Magic

The only threat the Magic pose is Vucevic going up against Jordan. But the Nets’ big man has been in brilliant form recently, which could make it an interesting matchup. Except for the Montenegrin, the Magic are lacklustre on offense so the Nets won’t have a lot of trouble.

They will be expected to coast through, and it will be their 22nd win of the season. This helps the second seed Nets to continue to apply pressure on the 76ers, who have looked shaky at the top. It is likely the Nets will finish as the number one seed when the season ends.
