“I don’t take things personally, I know some people, even comedians they have their memes they have their funny stuff. I know they have to stay relevant they have to you know make people laugh so I don’t take things personally,” Green said.

Clearly, Danny Green does not mind the rants coming from fans. Athletes are humans too, and mistakes aren’t oblivious in their sport. But, how did the 32-year-old react when Snoop Dogg posted a vile comment on Instagram?

Danny Green took a solid decision after the Lakers lost Game 5

People are ready to blame Green for the Game 5 loss, but not many refer to it as a collective defeat. In fact, it is. A list of factors pulled down the Lakers from winning, but Green took all the blame.

But was the Lakers forward even aware of the amount of shade thrown at him? Not really! He made a very wise move of staying off social media after the loss. “I just had to block out the noise. So everybody that I just unfollowed or blocked the pages or until you know it was the dust settled,” Green said.

“So everybody was tagging me on it: tagging me on the post — tagging me. I just blocked out the noise man left it alone came back that that next game.”

Green bounced back the next game and secured more rebounds and points which contributed to the team’s victory.

Should Green be benched owing to his sub-par form? He’s one of the most successful 3-pt shooters but seemed to have lost his touch in the bubble. However, the championship will certainly boost Green’s momentum to come back next season and live up to the tag.
