In the 2010s decade, DeMarcus Cousins established himself as one of the best centers in the league. However, after an unsuccessful stint with the Kings, Boogie decided to take his talents to the New Orleans.
In New Orleans, Boogie teamed up with Anthony Davis in the hopes of bringing success to the franchise. Although that didn’t happen, back in 2017, Boogie and Zach Randolph gave NBA fans a memorable moment.

The two got into a heated scuffle which led to Randolph saying, “Where I’m from bullies get bullied. In my hood bullies get bullied”. Randolph recalled this moment in “The James Posey” podcast. He said:
“I just talked to little bro the other day. I just talked to Cuz, you know he there in Houston, I just talked to him the other day. You know Boogie here is a big old beast man, So I just told him to leave my player along. You know he picking on one of the players. So man quit being a big old bully man, that’s my man though. But bullies don’t get bullied, bullies get bullied for show.”

Cousins has somewhat of an aggressive approach to the game. Sometimes that can get him in foul trouble and cost his team the game. Regardless of this persona, Cousins is still an elite center in the league. But due to the last few injury-ridden seasons, Boogie’s value has tanked a lot, and he is still a free agent as of now.

When Cousins joined the Golden State Warriors after his stint with the Pelicans, it gave birth to a team with five all-star players. Unfortunately, due to a string of injuries to their superstars, the Warriors fell short in the 2019 NBA Finals. DeMarcus, who once had a max offer in his hand, then struggled to find a team. The Los Angeles Lakers placed their trust in him, but yet again, Cousins suffered a season-ending injury.
