There are several veterans who are still proving their worth in the NBA. Players that are still valuable leaders at the age of 35 or more. Chris Paul certainly comes up on this list, and his latest move to the Phoenix Suns was a sensational one which Paul genuinely loves!

He made the move to Phoenix after an excellent season with OKC. It was bitter for the Thunder fans, but Paul is quite content with where he is now. But his first few days with the Suns were quite bizarre.
“It is real different right now. Different is a great way to describe it. I guess the first time I’ve been in camp, and I ain’t playing with nobody. I haven’t played like pickup or anything with anybody,” said Paul on The Old Man and the Three podcast.

Paul is playing in Phoenix for the first time in his career, and he finds the intensity slightly overwhelming. He narrated how Suns rookie Ty-Shon Alexander wasted no time in displaying his skill set when they had a little 1v1 on the court.
CP3 had an entertaining conversation with fellow veteran JJ Redick, and the latter brought up a point about Paul being old and revered in his new team. “First of all, I’m not old by no means,” Paul joked.

Moreover, he put forth how the atmosphere in Phoenix has been really welcoming and well-suited to his liking. “But it has really been cool being here,” CP3 said. “We got such a great group of guys and you know how far that goes. That goes a long way.”

Chris Paul genuinely likes the 2021 Phoenix Suns roster
Paul has played for several teams in his career, and the Suns become the latest addition to his impressive resume. CP3 spoke quite highly of his new franchise and the teammates he’ll be playing with next season.
“It is one thing to do what you love and to hoop, but to be around people that genuinely like and enjoy, that’s the best part,” Paul expressed.

CP3 particularly had words of immense praise for veteran E’Twaun Moore, who was recently traded from the New Orleans Pelicans. Paul has never teamed up alongside him but is eager to gain experience in the coming months!

“We got E’Twaun Moore here. Having him on our team, like when I saw that signing, I was like, ‘Hell Yeah!’ Somebody that I’ve never known, like the only conversation we ever had was when playing against each other during a game,” CP3 mentioned.

Chris Paul says he respects Moore a lot, and the same stands true for Langston Galloway, who joined the team during the 2020 offseason as well.
