Fans can often become very personal when defending their favorite teams or players. However, people should know better by now to not mess with Damian Lillard. The Portland Trail Blazers’ star is known for standing up to people and speaking his mind, and we got to witness that once again.

The Blazers were initially quite hyped for Lillard’s ‘Dame Time’ performances. But when it comes down to facts, they did land eighth seed in the Western Conference and some people just won’t let that go.

Time and again, Lillard has come back with harsh responses to people criticizing him. Thus, even if it was a fan this time, Lillard was not one to sit down and take it. On twitter, Overtime shared a video of Lillard going through his combat workout. But some fans took shots at him and said that Damian would do anything in the offseason but play basketball.

“Bro do everything in the off-season but hoop.” Damian retorted and said, “I hoop DURING the season.” He laid down that he plays the game when it is needed the most, that is during the season.

There were many more comments directed at him, but looks like one hit closer to home. A fan replied to him on twitter, saying, “shame in being the 8th seed with the thunder and Mavs ahead of you lol.”

The All-star decided to take down two birds with one stone. He made shots at the Lakers and the fan with one statement, asking, “What seed have you been the last 8 years before Bron came?”

What do the Portland Trail Blazers have ahead of them?

Well, there is no point in firing at the Lakers. The Lakers have already reached the NBA Finals, whether it’s with or without LeBron. However, when it comes to the Blazers, they have a lot of things to be handled. They need to fix their defense drastically and find a player that can complement Lillard on the court. Only then will they come any closer to the Championship ring.
