The NBA Bubble in Orlando has a lot of restrictions, and rightly so. When star players like Russell Westbrook are testing positive for COVID, this level of strictness is the demand of the times. Many NBA players have been complaining about the food served in Disneyland, and many others are already missing their family. But we have exceptions in the name of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Alex Caruso of Los Angeles Lakers. The duo is rather enjoying their time in the bubble.
The Lakers have already lost key players like Avery Bradley and Rajon Rondo to personal reasons and injury, respectively. KCP is expected to fill the void effectively. Coach Frank Vogel has been pretty positive about this shift in plan. But numbers also suggest that Lakers perform better per 100 possessions when Avery is in the squad as compared to KCP.

Los Angeles Lakers guys have no complaints
Alex Caruso, who would always surprise everyone with his athletic dunks, said some really positive things about the Bubble. He said, “It’s almost like a professional summer camp.” They have been playing golf, going on fishing, riding bikes, and enjoying the poolside. Now who in his right mind will still have complaints?”
Certainly not Caldwell-Pope. He looked very composed and satisfied with all the hospitality. He shared, “The Bubble has been good for me, actually. I am not a big complainer, you know. The stuff we’re doing here you know…just chilling… in our room…you know the stuff we do at home…So I’m not with the kids, I’m chilling playing video games on TV, on my laptop…”

Lakers squad for the NBA Bubble
For the men in Golden and Purple, LeBron James, KCP, Danny Green, Anthony Davis, and JaVale McGee are the starters. They also have signed JR Smith and he will surely be playing an active part. Next up will be Dwight Howard, who can exchange positions with McGee.
