LeBron James ranks #5 on the Forbes list of the highest-paid athletes in 2020. Overall, he stands at #9 amongst all the celebrities that Forbes features. He had a net worth of $450 million in 2018. Further, he is advancing, breaking & setting records. His brand value is touching the sky, and it is only growing with his age.

1. $1.5 Million for investment in ‘self’

To make this investment for self-care, he purchases some machinery, brings on-board world’s greatest experts, and gives his body the best possible treatment. He has hired a former Navy SEAL in David Alexander to help him with biomechanics. The Akron Hammer has a world-class gym facility in his own home. He makes use of the Cryo Chamber to take Cryotherapy and Hyperbaric Chamber to allow more oxygen into his body. You’ll find him wearing compression gears, and all this accounts for an enormous expense.

2. He owns a stake in LFC

King James is not limited just to Basketball. He owns a 2% stake in Liverpool Football Club. LFC is going strong in the business, and hence it seems to be another profitable deal for the L-Train. He made this investment at an initial price of $6.5 million in the year 2011. In 2019, that investment alone was worth $43 million as LFC’s market valuation increased multifold.

3. He owns and gifts sports cars

As per Business Insider, his Bentley Continental GT was worth $218400. His other cars include a 2010 Chevy Camaro SS, Dodge Challenger SRT, Ferrari 599, Ferrari F430 Spider, Ferrari 458 Spider, 2015 Kia K900, Lamborghini Aventador Roadster, Mercedes-Benz Maybach 57S, 2018 Maybach S650, Porsche 911 Turbo S, Rolls Royce Phantom, and a 1975 Chevy Impala. He has also gifted a Porsche to his mother, a Ferrari Testarossa to his wife, he himself drives a custom, K900 Kia.

4. A mansion in Los Angeles among other habitats

LeBron joined Miami Heat and gifted himself a $9 million home in Coconut Grove, which he later sold at a profit. The businessman in him never settles. He is a proud owner of a humongous 30,000 sq ft compound in Akron where he belongs. Last, his Los Angeles Mansion that cost him $23 Million. 

5. Rolex collection

GQ has listed almost every expensive watch that LeBron has worn during important events. A Gold Rolex Day-Date II which he wore to the Cavs Championship parade (2016), a special edition 18-carat rose gold Royal Oak, another 18-carat white gold set with 608 diamonds ($178,800) are some noteworthy and lucky watches that tie around his Richie Rich wrists.
