The Golden State Warriors finished at the bottom of the Western Conference this season. However, the team is already preparing for their return in the playoffs next season with players like Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. In fact, a certain someone has even shown their interest in making their come back being a part of the Warriors.

Isaiah Thomas makes the pitch

Isaiah Thomas was waivered by the Los Angeles Clippers earlier this year. What’s unfortunate is that it happened even before he got a chance to play for them. Isaiah went from being an MVP candidate in 2016-17 to being an outcast in three years. Nevertheless, he has already begun his pitching process for the upcoming season and his target is the Golden State Warriors.

Thomas took to twitter and responded,“I need that Warriors action. I’ll come off the bench serving!!!”.

Thomas fit for Warriors?

Thomas gas been one of the most elite point guards. It is the injury epidemic that hit him after which he went from leading the Boston Celtics to jumping from one franchise to another. This is a player who averaged almost 30 points during his time with the Celtics.

The Warriors are all set for a successful season next year with their key players Andrew Wiggins, Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry. This healthy roster along with a former All-Star could be quite beneficial. Even playing in a limited bench role for a team like Warriors could be the perfect fit for him.

The question that arises is whether the Warriors would be willing to hire him. He has never won a NBA championship and is a player with a history of injuries. The team has had a strong bench squad in the past couple of years and adding a veteran could be very good reinforcement for the team. Thomas just needs to prove that he can hold out for the season and will be good to go.
