Chris Bosh was a historic player in the NBA. Bosh was a part of the historic 2003 NBA draft class. His fellow draftees were his friends LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Carmelo Anthony. Bosh went to the Toronto Raptors as the fourth pick in the draft. Within his first few years, he established himself as one of the best young players in the NBA. Bosh became a cornerstone for Toronto.

In 2006, Bosh became an NBA All-Star for the first time. Once he became an All-Star, he remained one till the end of his career. Bosh continued to grow by leaps and bounds with the Toronto Raptors, even making it to the prestigious All-NBA second team in 2007.

Bosh’s excellent performances garnered great acclaim. In 2008, Bosh made it to the 2008 Olympic Team for the USA, the infamous ‘Redeem Team’. He joined his friends LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Carmelo Anthony on the squad.

In 2010, Chris Bosh left Toronto to sign with the Miami Heat in free agency. He joined forces with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade to form ‘The Big Three’. The decision to join forces was made between the three during their time together at the Olympics.

In Miami, Bosh was part of a true dynasty. The team made four consecutive NBA Finals from 2011 to 2014, winning two NBA Championships in 2012 and 2013. After James left Miami to go back to Cleveland, Bosh and Wade remained with the Heat. Eventually, the two players advanced age and nagging injuries led to them retiring. Bosh retired with the Miami Heat, and his #1 jersey was retired by the Heat.

It now appears as though Bosh is looking to transition into a new career. Chris Bosh joined ‘The Real’ talk show to reveal his new music project. When asked about how Kobe Bryant inspired his new song, Bosh spoke candidly about how driven Kobe was with his off-the-court endeavors.

Bosh said, “I would say the best one was when he told me he was going to win an Oscar. He told me months before the Oscars even come on. He was telling me his ambitions. Not so much that it was a dream, but he was telling me.

“Kobe is a very precise person, he’s going to tell you exactly how he’s going to do it. And more importantly, we were talking about post-retirement things, what we were going to do outside of the game of basketball. He had miles and miles on anybody before he passed.”
