The NBA has had a history of jerseys that fans couldn’t stand. Some were so bad that even players and owners complained about them. Whether it’s poor design or just an awful choice of colors, the league has witnessed some truly horrendous clothing. Here are the top 10 jerseys that were so bad that they deserve to remain hidden, out of sight, never to resurface again.

Los Angeles Clippers (2015)

The Clippers Road Red uniforms back in 2015 were a bit unsettling, to say the least. With the logo and the number close to each other, the minimal approach seemed like nothing but minimal effort put forth by the design department.

Atlanta Hawks (1995-1999)

The recent uniforms of the Atlanta Hawks have drawn some fire, but these classic jerseys from the late 90s are much worse. The placement of the logo, team name, and the number are cramped up together. The ombre pants didn’t help matters either.

Milwaukee Bucks (1990s)

The Milwaukee Bucks have had their share of ugly jerseys, but this one takes the cake. Not only does the unsightly color combination raise questions, but the aptly-placed deer adds to the misery of the viewer.

Sacramento Kings (2005)

Rivals of the purple and gold Los Angeles Lakers, the Sacramento Kings decided to have their own purple and gold jerseys in 2005, but with a slight twist. Unsurprisingly, the experiment failed, and these uniforms were termed as one of the worst ever.

Memphis Grizzlies (2011)

In the 2011-12 season, the Memphis Grizzlies revealed the Memphis Tams throwback jerseys, which turned out to be a washout. The combination of yellow jerseys and green shorts looked mismatched, and were more along the lines of an AAU jersey.

Dallas Mavericks (2003)

These Dallas Mavericks jerseys were so bad, that even owner Mark Cuban publically called it “wet garbage bags” and took it off the markets after just a single game. These jerseys require no further explanation.

Washington Wizards (2006)

The Washington Wizards used these jerseys from 2006 to 2009, subjecting fans to multiple years of ugly uniforms. Black and gold is a solid color combo, but surprisingly, the Wizards ruined it, and how!

Toronto Raptors (2012)

The Toronto Raptors wore these jerseys for Military Night back in 2012, and fans were happy it was just a one-off event. Multiple teams have had camo jerseys, but none of them have managed to pull it off well.

The San Antonio Spurs have a neat camo city jersey this season. But this 2013, one was so bad that reportedly Kawhi Leonard himself said that they could have done a better job.

Every NBA sleeve jersey ever

Throughout the last decade, the NBA has had many sleeved jerseys. But nothing good has come out of them. Multiple players like Dirk Nowitzki and LeBron James have openly criticized them, not just for the looks but also for the discomfort caused by the sleeves. And once LeBron complained, the whole league rallied behind their King, resulting in the discontinuation of the jerseys.
